abstract | The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a structured electro-optic component, in which a conductive layer and at least one metal oxide layer are formed in one or more steps during formation of the structure. Laser light is used to remove at least one segment of at least one layer from the included electro-optic component. The invention also relates to a method for manufacturing an electro-optical element from at least one structured electro-optical component obtained in the manner described above and, if necessary, additional components or parts. These electro-optic elements are suitable for use as electro-optic displays and indicators, in particular as electro-optic elements and indicators with large-surface buttons provided in the form of dimming mirrors, windows or other display elements. |
