abstract | The present invention provides an apparatus, method and composition for dispensing fragrance to laundry in a dryer without substantial loss of fragrance during the drying process. The apparatus comprises an electrostatic steam generator that can dispense the fragrance composition into the dryer. The present invention also provides an electrostatically distributable fragrance composition containing glycol, vegetable oil, and perfume. The present invention further provides kits and methods for enhancing the residual scent of laundry by adding textile conditioning and fragrance compositions in separate steps during the laundry process. The present invention includes embodiments in which the distribution of the fragrance composition is controlled by a computer. |
