Intravascular cell manipulation and inflammatory responses are elicited from transplantation within vascular regions or intravascular locations. The thrombogenicity of a biocompatible and bioabsorbable polymer is controlled by the composition of the polymer. Furthermore, the coil is at least partly a growth factor, more specifically vascular endothelial growth factor, basic fibroblast. It is composed of cell growth factors or other growth factors.
