The present invention relates to a compound of formula (I): [Chemical 1] [Wherein X is CH 2 , O, S (O) 2 , or NR 10 ; Y is a bond, CH 2 , NR 35 , CH 2 NH, CH 2 NHC (O), CH (OH), CH (NHCOR 33 ), CH (NHSO 2 R 34 ), CH 2 O, or CH 2 S Yes; Z can be C (O), or when Y is a bond, Z can also be S (O) 2 ; R 1 is an optionally substituted aryl, an optionally substituted heterocycle, or a C 4-6 cycloalkyl fused to a benzene ring; and R 2 , R 3 , R 4 , R 5 , R 6 , R 7 , and R 8 , R 9 , R 10 , R 32 , R 33 , R 34 , and R 35 are as defined herein] This is a modulator of chemokine (especially CCR3) activity (eg, a modulator for use in the treatment of asthma).
