titleOfInvention | Multifunctional microarray and method |
abstract | A detection instrument for detecting a plurality of analytes on a solid substrate (11), a method for preparing the instrument, and their use in analysis and diagnostic procedures are described. The detection instrument includes a solid substrate (11) that is processed with an array of detection spots, the detection spot having an analyte sensor (15) bound to the substrate (11) by a universal binding ligand (13). The universal binding ligand (22) can bind multiple analyte sensors (25A, 25B and 25C) to create a multifunctional array. A method for preparing the detection instrument and an assay method using a microprint method are described. |
