titleOfInvention Chemical surface modification method of polytetrafluoroethylene
abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel surface modification method for enhancing biocompatibility of polytetrafluoroethylene. A reaction solution is prepared by mixing a hydrogen compound such as sodium borohydride and a cyclic compound such as anthraquinone or a derivative thereof with an organic solvent such as dichloromethane, and then an expanded polytetrafluoroethylene (ePTFE) artificial blood vessel or After adding a PTFE film or porous PTFE separation membrane to the reaction solution, heat or ultraviolet energy is added to the reaction solution, fluorine is removed from the surface of the ePTFE artificial blood vessel by an electron exchange reaction, and then the remaining reactant is removed. To produce expanded polytetrafluoroethylene artificial blood vessels that have been chemically surface modified.
