Disclosed is a method and composition for labeling a targeting agent with Ga-68, wherein the eluate from the acid-eluted Ge-68 / Ga-68 generator is combined with a targetable agent comprising a macrocycle. With the disclosed labeling methods and compositions, mere elution of gallium-68 taken directly from a generator can be used to quantitatively label a targetable drug containing a macrocycle without any other manipulation. It becomes like this. The Ga-68 labeled targeting agent thus produced is useful with specific targeting agents and is particularly useful for pretargeting methods for positron emission tomography detection. |
