abstract | The present invention is a method for producing functional microcapsules containing silver nanoparticles that provide not only the specific functions provided by the functional substance contained in the inner core but also antibacterial and healing functions specific to silver. The method for producing the microcapsules of the present invention comprises mixing a functional substance such as a fragrance and water containing a surfactant and emulsifying it, and then adding an outer shell-forming substance such as a melamine initial condensate to the functional capsule. After producing a microcapsule containing a substance in a spherical inner core and having an outer shell, before the capsule outer shell is cured, a solution in which silver nanoparticles are dispersed in a water-soluble styrene-maleic anhydride polymer is added and stirred. Silver nanoparticles are fixed to the outer shell of the microcapsule. |
