abstract The use of an FPT inhibitor for the manufacture of a medicament for treating cancer is disclosed. This treatment includes the step of administering a therapeutically effective amount of a medicament and a therapeutically effective amount of one or more anti-neoplastic agents, including non-small cell lung cancer, CML, AML, non-Hodgkin's lymphoma and Multiple myeloma is included. The invention also provides a method of treating cancer in a patient in need of treatment for cancer, the method comprising administering a therapeutically effective amount of an FPT inhibitor and an anti-tumor agent selected from the group consisting of: (1) an EGF inhibitor that is an antibody, (2) an EGF inhibitor that is a small molecule, (3) a VEGF inhibitor that is an antibody, and (4) a VEGF inhibitor that is a small molecule.
