titleOfInvention | Method for reducing reaction by-products in polycarbonate resin |
abstract | A simple and effective method capable of reducing both the amount of a fleece product in a polycarbonate resin and the amount of residual mono- and dihydric phenol compounds. SOLUTION: Polycarbonate has the formula (1) (wherein R 1 is alkoxy, phenoxy, benzyloxy or phenyl, R 2 is a substituted or unsubstituted C 1 -C 30 alkyl group, C 6 -C 30 aryl group) , C 7 -C 30 aralkyl group or C 6 -C 30 aryloxy group), and the resulting mixture reacts with the linear fleece product to form a sealed line. By reacting with residual phenolic compounds (monovalent and divalent) to form encapsulated phenolic compounds and ortho-substituted phenolic compounds for a sufficient amount of time to form a fleece-like product. A polycarbonate resin with a reduced content of by-products can be produced. [Chemical 1] |
