abstract |
A method for distinguishing and counting nucleated red blood cells in a blood sample is described. The method comprises lysing red blood cells in a blood sample with a blood cell lysis reagent, measuring nucleated blood cells by DC impedance measurement at a non-restricted flow opening, distinguishing the nucleated red blood cells from other cell types, and the blood Recording nucleated red blood cells in the sample.
