abstract | 【Task】 Provided is a polyester composition having both good flame retardancy and good color stability upon ultraviolet aging without using a halogenated flame retardant and without impairing mechanical properties. [Solution] The polyester composition includes poly (butylene terephthalate), a nitrogen-containing flame retardant, and a phosphorus-containing flame retardant, and the weight ratio of the total of the nitrogen-containing flame retardant and the phosphorus-containing flame retardant to the poly (butylene terephthalate) is about 0. The weight ratio of the phosphorus-containing flame retardant and the nitrogen-containing flame retardant is about 1.0 or more. This composition has excellent color stability in UV aging, good flame retardant and high impact strength. |
