titleOfInvention | Method for producing particles for image display medium |
abstract | The present invention provides a method for producing particles for an image display medium that can maintain initial performance without dissociating child particles constituting the particles for image display medium from mother particles even in reversal display. An image display medium is used for an image display apparatus that encloses an image display medium between opposing substrates at least one of which is transparent, applies an electric field to the image display medium, and moves the image display medium to display an image. In the method for producing particles 11, image display medium particles 11 are composed of mother particles (large particles) 12 and child particles (small particles) 13, and (1) composite particles in which the child particles are embedded on the surface of the mother particles. 14 is subjected to electron beam irradiation to post-crosslink the composite particles, or (2) composite particles in which child particles (small particles) are embedded on the surface of the mother particles (large particles) post-crosslinked by electron beam irradiation. Or (3) a composite particle in which a child particle (small particle) is embedded in the surface of a mother particle (large particle) post-crosslinked by electron beam irradiation, and then the composite particle is irradiated with an electron beam, Post-crosslinking.
