abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect the position of a liquid level in a container easily and with high accuracy. An elevating member 22 is provided so as to be movable in the vertical direction on the side of a region where a reagent container 16b is disposed in a casing C of a reagent supply apparatus. The elevating member 22 is configured to be pushed downward by the lowering main body 12a of the electric pipette when the tip 14 of the electric pipette is inserted into the insertion port 16c from above. The elevating member 22 holds the sensor 23 for detecting the presence or absence of a chemical solution in the reagent container 16b at the held height below the tip of the tip 14 of the electric pipette 12.
