PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve cycle characteristics and low temperature load characteristics of a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery. A non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery includes a positive electrode 2 and a negative electrode 3 that are electrochemically doped and dedoped with lithium, and an electrolyte interposed between the positive electrode 2 and the negative electrode 3.
