Method for sterilizing and deodorizing water for papermaking and slime control agent used therefor |
abstract |
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slime suppression and deodorization method in an economical papermaking process. SOLUTION: Acidic hydrochloric acid, pH 4 or higher, effective chlorine concentration 1000 to 10000 ppm, preferably 2000 to 8000 ppm, high concentration sodium hypochlorite A method for sterilizing and deodorizing water for papermaking, characterized in that an aqueous solution is introduced into a white water system or a recovered scum system water tank and adjusted so as to have an effective chlorine concentration of 100 to 10 ppm. This method can achieve suppression and deodorization of papermaking slime at an economical cost. The water for papermaking after addition is effective in the neutral range, but the weakly acidic range is preferable. [Selection] Figure 1 |
