(A) A step of subjecting a pulverized propolis mass to extraction using a mixed solvent containing water, an organic solvent, and an emulsifier, followed by solid-liquid separation into an extract and an extraction residue, (B) A) After adding water to the extraction residue separated in the step and stirring, the step of solid-liquid separation into an organic solvent aqueous solution and a solid, and (C) concentrating the organic solvent aqueous solution separated in the step (B). Including the step of (D) drying and pulverizing the solid separated in the step (B), and the concentrate obtained in the step (C) or the powder obtained in the step (D) as a product. And a method for producing an active oxygen scavenger, as well as foods and cosmetics containing the active oxygen scavenger obtained by this method. [Selection figure] None
