abstract An object of the present invention is to provide a method for advantageously producing a desired aromatic amino compound using a weak base such as potassium carbonate. In the presence of a homogeneous palladium catalyst comprising a bidentate ligand soluble in an organic solvent and a palladium compound, and a base, the compound represented by the formula (1) (In the formula, Ar represents an optionally substituted aryl group and the like, and X represents a leaving group.) An aromatic compound represented by formula (2) (Wherein R 1 represents an optionally substituted alkyl group, etc., and R 2 represents a hydrogen atom, an optionally substituted alkyl group, etc.) A compound represented by the formula (3): (In the formula, Ar, R 1 and R 2 have the same meaning as described above.) In which an alkali metal or alkaline earth metal carbonate, phosphate, acetate, trifluoroacetate, bicarbonate, monohydrogen phosphate or A method for producing an aromatic amino compound, wherein a reaction is carried out in the presence of water using a fluoride salt.
