A proton conductive material that can operate from a low temperature range to an intermediate temperature range, is easy to manufacture, and is low in cost, and a method for manufacturing the proton conductive material. Furthermore, a hydrogen concentration cell, a hydrogen sensor, and a fuel cell on which the proton conductive material is mounted are provided. The proton conductive material includes elements of calcium, sulfur and hydrogen, respectively, and has a proton conductivity of 10 −6 S / cm or more at room temperature. In terms of oxide conversion, CaO may contain 10 wt% or more and 45 wt% or less, SO 3 may contain 15 wt% or more and 60 wt% or less, and H 2 O may contain 5 wt% or more and 55 wt% or less. P 2 O 5 can be contained in an amount of 0.1 wt% or more and 50 wt% or less. [Selection] Figure 3 |
