abstract |
An image display apparatus driving method capable of eliminating contrast reduction and shading unevenness caused by crosstalk is provided. At least two kinds of image display media of a first color and a second color are sealed between two opposing substrates at least one of which is transparent, and an electric field is applied from the electrodes to the image display medium. In the driving method of the image display apparatus that displays the image by moving the image display medium, the drive voltage applied to the electrode to generate the electric field is moved between the drive voltage in the on state and the image display medium in the off state. A pulsed voltage composed of a plurality of voltages with a voltage below a threshold value to be started is applied. [Selection] Figure 3 |
