abstract | The present invention provides a method for manufacturing a plasma display panel capable of quickly determining the degree of drying of a dielectric coating film and improving the quality of a dielectric layer after firing. A step (S2) of forming a dielectric coating film with a dielectric material containing a colored organic material or a thermochromic organic material on a substrate and an electrode, and a step of drying the dielectric coating film (S2) S3), an inspection step (S4) for determining the degree of drying of the dielectric coating film, and a firing step (S5) for firing the dielectric coating film to form a dielectric layer.
