titleOfInvention | Image display panel and manufacturing method thereof |
abstract | An image display panel manufacturing method capable of easily obtaining a panel having a black matrix structure without increasing the number of manufacturing steps. A cell 12 separated from each other by a partition wall 4 is formed between two opposing substrates 1 and 2 at least one of which is transparent, and at least two kinds of dark and light colors are charged in the cell. In an image display panel in which an image display medium 3 having different characteristics is enclosed, an electric field is applied to the image display medium, and the image display medium is moved to display an image, a dark color image is formed at one end of a partition wall. A recess 11 for storing the display medium is provided. The image display medium is sprayed and filled in the cells defined by the partition walls having recesses at the ends, and then the dark color image display medium that has entered the recesses is left as it is in the recesses of the partition walls. The substrate is bonded to the partition wall. [Selection] Figure 5 |
