abstract 【Task】 Provided is a method for preserving and treating timber that can extend the useful life of wood by preserving it. [Solution] The plant organic fuel is burned in the combustion chamber to generate smoke, and this smoke is sent to the soot drying chamber. And the wood accommodated in the smoke drying process room | chamber is dried with the sent smoke. Thereby, it dries to the wood with a high Young's modulus. That is, the strength of the wood is increased by homogenizing and stabilizing individual cells. Thereafter, the smoke-dried wood is immersed in a mixed solution of a wood treatment (wood protective agent) containing iron as a main component, a wood vinegar solution, and wood tar for 5 minutes. The mixed solution contains a component for preserving and protecting the wood. As a result, it is possible to obtain an antiseptic / anticidal treated wood having a high Young's modulus.
