titleOfInvention | Method for producing cross-linked polyethylene pipe |
abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a cross-linked polyethylene pipe which achieves both a long fracture life and a sufficient creep performance in a method for producing a cross-linked polyethylene pipe which is extruded while causing a silane compound to undergo graft reaction. SOLUTION: A mixture comprising a polyethylene resin and an antioxidant (preferably, the antioxidant content is 0.3 to 1.5% by weight with respect to the polyethylene resin) is supplied to an extruder and plasticized. In the manufacturing process of the crosslinked polyethylene pipe, the resin is subjected to graft reaction with a silane compound in the presence of a radical generator, and silanolization is promoted in the presence of a silanol catalyst and extruded into a tubular shape, and then the molded body is water-crosslinked. As an antioxidant, a phenolic antioxidant and a phosphorus antioxidant are used in combination. [Selection figure] None |
