titleOfInvention | Water-based photochromic ink composition for ballpoint pen and ballpoint pen incorporating the same |
abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-based photochromic ink composition for ballpoint pens which has excellent dispersion stability and a sufficient writing performance even in an aqueous medium, and a ballpoint pen incorporating the same. A photochromic pigment containing an organic photochromic material, a shear thinning agent, and water. The photochromic pigment is in the range of an average particle size of 0.5 to 15 μm. The photochromic pigment is added in the range of 0.5 to 40% by weight based on the total amount of the ink composition. An aqueous photochromic ink composition for ballpoint pens, wherein the photochromic pigment is a photochromic microcapsule pigment containing at least an organic photochromic material and an organic medium compound. A ballpoint pen incorporating the ink composition. [Selection figure] None |
