PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a zinc oxide particle dispersion having a small dispersed particle size and excellent dispersion stability and a method for producing the same. A zinc oxide particle dispersion containing zinc oxide particles, a dispersant represented by the following formula (1) or (2) and a dispersion medium. The photocurable composition containing this zinc oxide particle dispersion, polyfunctional (meth) acrylate monomer and photopolymerization initiator is suitably used as a resin composition for forming a high refractive index film of an antireflection film.
