abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an industrial antiseptic and fungicide using 1,2-benzisothiazolin-3-one and a water-soluble amine substantially free of formaldehyde. A solution of 1,2-benzisothiazolin-3-one in a range of 6 to 40% by weight and 3-ethoxypropylamine in a range of 7 to 47% by weight to form a stable aqueous solution. [Effect] The industrial antiseptic and fungicide of the present invention can be stably stored in a state containing an amine salt of 1,2-benzisothiazolin-3-one substantially free of formaldehyde as a harmful substance. .
