PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing plate material and a printing method which are excellent in printing startability and printing durability in printing and excellent in storage stability at high temperatures. In a printing plate material having a hydrophilic layer and a heat-sensitive image forming layer on a substrate, the heat-sensitive image forming layer is formed by applying a coating solution for an aqueous heat-sensitive image forming layer containing a blocked isocyanate compound. A printing plate material, wherein the blocked isocyanate compound is a reaction compound of an isocyanate compound, a polyol, and a blocking agent for an isocyanate group. [Selection figure] None |
