PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pollutant decomposing apparatus using a photocatalyst coated leak fiber having high utilization efficiency of excitation light. SOLUTION: A light source 2 that emits light capable of exciting a photocatalyst, and a photocatalyst is applied to the surface of an optical fiber directly connected to the light source, and the excitation light is leaked from the surface of the optical fiber so that the excitation light becomes a photocatalyst. A plurality of photocatalyst-coated leak fibers 4 that can be irradiated are arranged side by side on a sheet 5 at a predetermined interval, and the photocatalyst assembly 6 is formed by winding the photocatalyst assembly into a cylindrical or rod shape, and the photocatalyst assembly is inserted. A contaminant decomposition apparatus 1 having a device main body 8 having a flow path 7 for a decomposition target to be decomposed. [Selection] Figure 1 |
