Disclosed is a medicament containing a novel polypeptide that can be used for angiogenesis, wound healing, and the like. An isolated polypeptide having at least 80% sequence identity to a disclosed amino acid sequence or at least 80% sequence identity to an amino acid sequence encoded by a nucleic acid molecule deposited under ATCC Accession No. 203091 An isolated polypeptide having sex is included to make a pharmaceutical product. A vector containing a nucleic acid molecule encoding the polypeptide, an antibody or an antibody fragment that specifically binds to the polypeptide and inhibits the ability to promote endothelial cell growth can also be used.
