PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of easily controlling an aspect ratio of metal nanorods and efficiently producing metal nanorods having a target aspect ratio. [Means] In a method for producing metal fine particles by reducing metal ions in an aqueous solution containing a surfactant, the aspect ratio of the metal fine particles is controlled by producing the metal fine particles in an environment to which an acid or alkali is added. Alternatively, the aspect ratio of the metal fine particles is controlled by performing a reduction reaction by adjusting the liquid temperature. [Selection] Figure 1 |
