abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vaccine composition effective against HCV comprising a safe and non-toxic adjuvant. An HCV E1E2 composition comprising an E1E2 antigen, a submicron oil-in-water emulsion and / or an immunostimulatory nucleic acid sequence is disclosed. The composition can be used in a method of stimulating an immune response in a vertebrate subject. The present invention relates to submicron oil-in-water emulsions and immunostimulatory nucleic acid sequences (ISS) (eg, CpY motif, CpR motif, and unmethylated CpG motif (cytosine followed by guanosine and linked by phosphate bonds).
