titleOfInvention Method for producing high purity hypochlorite solution
abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a high purity hypochlorite solution containing few impurities such as bromic acid. [Solution] The amount of bromic acid precipitated when cooling a hypochlorite solution containing bromic acid is a target value. The hypochlorite solution is cooled to a predetermined temperature selected based on the solubility of bromic acid corresponding to various temperatures so as to precipitate hypochlorite. The chlorite is separated from the solution and prepared separately, for example, in water. In this case, the precipitation amount of bromic acid can be controlled with high accuracy in a low concentration range of, for example, several ppm, and as a result, a highly pure hypochlorite solution can be obtained.
