abstract 【Task】 A layout verification rule file taking into account the actual load extraction is automatically generated, and parasitic elements can be easily extracted. [Solution] A layout verification rule file automatic generation device 10 including a definition file creation unit 11 and a rule file creation unit 12 is used. The definition file creating unit 11 creates a definition file used for layout verification based on a plurality of data and templates used for layout verification in the layout design of the semiconductor device. The rule file creation unit 12 automatically generates a layout verification rule file based on the definition file. The template includes a plurality of parameters indicating the three-dimensional structure of the semiconductor device. The definition file includes data regarding a plurality of parameters in a plurality of data. The three-dimensional structure includes at least one of a three-dimensional structure of each component of the semiconductor device and a three-dimensional positional relationship between the components.
