PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gel having a porous structure capable of obtaining high hybridization efficiency and having sufficient gel strength, and a microarray using the gel. A gel obtained by copolymerizing a substituted (meth) acrylamide derivative, a crosslinking agent and a capture probe is produced. Preferably, the gel has a composition in which the molar ratio of the substituted (meth) acrylamide derivative and the crosslinking agent is 10/1 to 500/1, and the polymer concentration in the gel is 15 to 40% by mass.
