titleOfInvention Wastewater treatment method
abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wastewater treatment method capable of performing desulfurization treatment with a simple configuration at low cost in an wastewater treatment method for anaerobic biological treatment of organic wastewater containing sulfur and nitrogen. SOLUTION: Occurred in an anaerobic reaction tank 1 when a denitrification process is performed by introducing a treatment solution after treatment in an anaerobic reaction tank 1 into a denitrification tank 2 and circulating between the denitrification tank 2 and the nitrification tank 3. Biogas containing hydrogen sulfide is introduced into the denitrification tank 2 from the line L10. In the denitrification tank 2, desulfurization proceeds by the reaction of hydrogen sulfide and nitrate nitrogen in the anaerobic reaction tank treated water by the action of sulfur-oxidizing bacteria. This reaction reduces the concentration of hydrogen sulfide in the anaerobic reaction tank treatment water, but the reaction proceeds further as hydrogen sulfide dissolves from the introduced biogas, thereby desulfurizing the biogas and denitrifying the liquid to be treated. Proceed simultaneously. Furthermore, since the organic gas in the biogas serves as a nutrient source for the denitrifying bacteria in the denitrification tank 2, the denitrification efficiency can be improved.
