titleOfInvention | Xanthine oxidoreductase mutant |
abstract | The present invention provides a xanthine oxidoreductase mutant that can be used as a superoxide-producing enzyme. A xanthine oxidoreductase mutant according to any one of (a) to (c). (A) For a specific amino acid sequence which is a xanthine oxidoreductase of Rattus norvegicus, at least one amino acid selected from 334th arginine, 335th tryptophan, 426th arginine and 549th phenylalanine is another amino acid. (B) an amino acid sequence in which the 336th phenylalanine is substituted with another amino acid; and (b) amino acids having substitutions homologous to (a) for the amino acid sequences of all mammalian XORs except Rattus norvegicus (C) the amino acid sequence of the XOR variant according to any one of (a) and (b), further comprising one or more amino acid sequences deleted, substituted or added, and superoxide Has production activity.
