abstract | An object of the present invention is to provide a coating liquid for an ink jet recording material in which a coating layer is hardly cracked even if it is rapidly dried after being applied to a support. To efficiently obtain an ink jet recording material having good printing properties and good print quality. SOLUTION: In an ink jet recording material coating liquid containing inorganic ultrafine particles as a main component, inorganic ultraparticles, nonionic surfactants, and zwitterionic surfactants are used as surface charges and amphoteric properties of inorganic ultraparticles. After mixing and dispersing the coating liquid in the pH range where the charge of the surfactant has the same sign, the surface charge of the inorganic superparticle and the charge of the zwitterionic surfactant in the coating liquid are adjusted to a pH range where the sign is different. A coating liquid for an inkjet recording material, and an inkjet recording material coated with the coating liquid. [Selection figure] None |
