titleOfInvention | Radical polymerization initiator and method for producing polymer using the same |
abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radical polymerization initiator by a combination of a dinuclear ruthenium complex charged with a cation and a halogen compound as a binuclear complex, and further to provide a functional group capable of chemical conversion at the terminal from a polymerization reaction using the initiator. A method for producing a polymer having the same is provided. The present invention provides a radical polymerization initiator comprising a cationic dinuclear ruthenium amidinate complex (A) having a cyclopentadienyl group and an organic halogen compound (B). . In addition, the present invention provides a method for producing a polymer, wherein at least one, preferably two or more types of radically polymerizable monomers are polymerized in the presence of the polymerization initiator.
