titleOfInvention | Emulsion composition |
abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an emulsion composition in which resin fine particles that adhere to both a polar substrate and a nonpolar substrate are dispersed in water. SOLUTION: By synthesizing styrene and / or acrylic monomers in the presence of an olefin polymer using a specific aqueous polymer obtained by living radical polymerization as a dispersant, an olefin polymer is contained in the same particle. An emulsion composition in which composite fine particles containing a polymer and styrene and / or an acrylic polymer are dispersed in water is not only stably obtained, but also an olefin polymer and styrene and / or acrylic on the particle surface. It has been found that the emulsion composition obtained by this method adheres to both a polar substrate and a nonpolar substrate by taking a composite form in which both of the system polymers appear.
