abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a polyurethane resin using an aliphatic isocyanate, a catalyst capable of improving high-speed curing of a coating film and physical properties of the coating film and capable of replacing an organotin catalyst has been desired. SOLUTION: A polyol and an organic polyisocyanate are represented by the following general formula (1). M (acac) n (1) (In the formula, M is Ti, V, Cr, Mn, Fe, Co, Ni, Cu, Zr, Hf or Al, acac represents acetylacetonate, and n is an integer having a value of 1 or more and 4 or less. The reaction is carried out in the presence of a catalyst composition for producing a polyurethane resin comprising a metal complex catalyst represented by formula (II) and a nitro compound and, if necessary, an additive.
