abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent leakage of an electrolytic solution, improve the strength of a separator separating a working electrode and a counter electrode, and prevent deterioration of photoelectric conversion efficiency by preventing a short circuit between the electrodes. Type solar cell is obtained. A spacer 12 is disposed between a working electrode 10 and a counter electrode 8 facing the working electrode 10. The spacer 12 is a porous material composed of inorganic fine particles 5 and an adhesive resin 4 in which the inorganic fine particles 5 are dispersed. The adhesive resin film 14 holds the electrolytic solution 3 in the pores of the porous adhesive resin film 14. In the porous adhesive resin film 14, the inorganic fine particles 5, the inorganic fine particles 5 and the working electrode 10, and the inorganic fine particles 5 The adhesive resin 4 is bonded between the counter electrode 8 and the working electrode 10 and the counter electrode 8 are cross-linked by the skeleton of the inorganic fine particles 5 to maintain the strength as a spacer.
