titleOfInvention | Thermal recording material |
abstract | The present invention provides a heat-sensitive recording material excellent in image preservability such as plasticizer resistance. An undercoat layer containing a pigment and an adhesive as main components on a support, and an electron-accepting property that develops a color by reacting with an electron-donating ordinary colorless or light-colored dye precursor upon heating. In a heat-sensitive recording material having a heat-sensitive recording layer containing a compound, the heat-sensitive recording layer contains 3-diethylamino-6-methyl-7- (3-toluidino) fluorane as a specific electron-accepting compound and a dye precursor The pigment of the recording layer has an average particle diameter of 1.5 μm or less, preferably contains colloidal silica, and the organic hollow particles having openings as the pigment in the undercoat layer or substantially having no openings. At least one organic hollow particle is contained. Specific examples of the electron accepting compound include N- (p-toluenesulfonyl) -N ′-(3-p-toluenesulfonyloxyphenyl) urea. [Selection figure] None. |
