abstract An object of the present invention is to provide a heat-sensitive recording material having high sensitivity, strong image storability, particularly good water and alcohol storability, and excellent device matching. In a heat-sensitive recording material, a recording layer containing a colorless or light-colored electron-donating dye precursor on a support, and a recording layer containing an electron-accepting compound that reacts when heated to develop a color of the dye precursor is provided.
