【Task】 An organic electroluminescent device using a phosphorescent dopant material is provided that has a long lifetime with little reduction in luminance when continuously driven while maintaining high luminous efficiency peculiar to phosphorescence. [Solution] In the light emitting layer forming material, comprising a combination of a host material composed of two or more different charge transporting compounds and a dopant material composed of an organometallic complex containing at least one metal selected from Groups 7 to 11 of the periodic table. A light emitting layer forming material, wherein the excited triplet level (T1) of the two or more different charge transporting compounds is 2.2 eV or more. [Selection figure] None |
