abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process cartridge in which the accuracy of a blade to be mounted and cleaned on a process cartridge is improved, and the occurrence of twisting and deflection at the time of mounting is suppressed, and an image forming apparatus using the same. SOLUTION: A photoconductor 10, a cleaning blade 22 for removing transfer residual toner on the photoconductor 10, and a cleaning blade 22 are held, and the cleaning blade 22 is attached to the photoconductor 10. And holding side plates 220 and 250 for supporting both ends of the photosensitive member. The side plates 220 and 250 are provided with contact surface abutting portions 221 and 251 for holding both ends of the holding plate 21, respectively. Process cartridge 200 to be used.
