PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light blend fiber excellent in light shielding property and light weight. SOLUTION: A blend fiber in which a main component thermoplastic polymer A having fiber forming ability, a thermoplastic polymer B having no maleimide structure in a molecular skeleton, and a light shielding agent are blended, and has many fine voids. A lightweight blended fiber excellent in light-shielding properties, characterized in that the boiling water shrinkage represented by the following formula (1) is 2 to 30% and the residual elongation is 5 to 50%. (1) S = (1−L / L 0 ) × 100 S: Boiling water shrinkage (%) L 0 : Skein of fiber, original length of skein measured with initial load of 0.09 cN / dtex L: Treated skein measured with L 0 in boiling water for 15 minutes under substantially no load, after air drying Skein length measured under initial load of 0.09 cN / dtex [Selection] Fig. 1 |
