PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel production method capable of producing a polybenzoxazole resin precursor and a polybenzoxazole resin more efficiently than before. SOLUTION: A method for producing a polybenzoxazole resin precursor is a method in which a diamine compound is subjected to a silylation reaction and then separated from a reaction liquid, and at least two of three to four-substituted three silylated diamine compounds are separated. Or a reaction solution before separating the reaction product is mixed with dicarboxylic acid dihalide and reacted. The polybenzoxazole resin causes the above precursor to undergo a dehydration cyclization reaction or a desilanol cyclization reaction. [Selection figure] None |
