titleOfInvention | Biological component measuring method and reagent composition therefor |
abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biological component measuring method for reducing measurement error due to endogenous or exogenous ammonia contained in a biological sample. An amino acid dehydrogenase having a Km value for ammonia of at least 5 mM, preferably an amino acid dehydrogenase derived from a thermophilic bacterium, a substrate for the dehydrogenase, and a first reagent containing NAD (P) H is contained in a sample. Act, measure the rate of decrease in absorbance obtained, then act on biological components in the sample, act on a second reagent containing an enzyme that produces ammonia, measure the rate of decrease in absorbance, and subtract the former from the latter A biological component measurement method and a reagent composition therefor characterized by measuring a biological component in a sample. |
