A polymer gel composition comprising a functional polymer gel that produces a volume change upon application of a stimulus, a liquid that is adsorbed and desorbed by the gel, and a holding member forming material, the holding member forming material. Has the property of exhibiting a fluidization / solidification transition by heating, and holding the holding member forming material at a temperature equal to or higher than the fluidization temperature, and holding the holding member forming material in the fluidized state at a time t 1 required for fluidization or below the solidification temperature.
